Nueva web - New website

Llevo mucho tiempo sin hacer una nueva entrada en el blog. El motivo ha sido el desarrollo de una página web en la que mostrar mi trabajo fotográfico de ahora en adelante.

A todos los que me habéis seguido a través del blog, muchas gracias por vuestra generosidad, apoyo y el tiempo dedicado a mis fotografías. Ha sido un placer compartir con vosotros. Ahora podemos seguir juntos en el enlace de más abajo.
 

It has been a while without an update on the blog. The reason has been the development of a new website on which my work will be displayed from now on.

I'd like to thank all of you that have followed me through this blog for your generosity, support and the time you dedicated to my photographs. It has been a real pleasure to share them with you.

Hielo - Ice

No está siendo un invierno muy frío en la Comunidad de Madrid y ni siquiera en la sierra de Guadarrama estamos teniendo muchas oportunidades para practicar fotografía de hielos.
It hasn't been a very cold winter in the region of Madrid and we are not having too many opportunities to practice photographing ice, even in the Guadarrama mountain range.

 

 

Este es un primer acercamiento a este tipo de fotografía. Ojalá el mes de Marzo nos ofrezca aún nuevas oportunidades.

This is a first attempt at this kind of photography. Hopefully March will bring a few more chances.

Seguimos con los paseriformes y como continuación de la anterior entrada del blog, incluyo otras 5 especies diferentes.

Quiero con esta entrada del blog, realizar un pequeño acercamiento a las aves paseriformes (passeriformes), esos "pequeñines", inquietos, de apariencia nerviosa, pero muy lucidos de fotografíar, que podemos ver en nuestros campos saltando continuamente de unas ramas a otras.

With this blog entry I want to focus on passerines, those tiny, restless and seemly nervous birds that are so splendid to photograph and we can see in our fields jumping from branch to branch.

CHICAGO - USA

En tanto llegan las fotografías de temas invernales y dado que la nieve y el hielo en nuestro entorno más cercano se estan haciendo esperar en este comienzo del invierno, quiero inciciar el año 2013 con una entrada referida a una ciudad espectacular: Chicago.

'Tis the time for winter photography and since the ice and snow haven't shown up in our surroundings during the first part of this season, I want to start this new year 2013 with a blog entry about an spectacular city: Chicago

Son solo algunas vistas de su skyline, de alguno de sus rincones y puntos de referencia, con luces del amanecer y del atardecer, vistas nocturnas y una pequeña información del ambiente en que queda envuelto la ciudad cuando la nieve decide ser protagonista.

These are just a few views of the skyline, some of its hidden and reference points, sunrise and sunset lights, night shots and a little of the feeling you get in the city when the snow make its presence.

Situada en la orilla suroeste del Lago Michigan, es conocida como la Ciudad del Viento y lo es, pero yo tambien destacaría sus luces y sus ambientes cambiantes vinculados a una dura y a veces extrema climatología.

Located on the southwest shore of Lake Michigan, it is known as de Windy City, and that's for a reason, but I would also highlight its lights and changing environments driven by a tough and sometimes extreme climate.

Es referencia mundial en lo que a arquitectura del siglo XX se refiere, de la música Blues, Soul, Jazz, Gospel, Danza Irlandesa  y punto de arranque de la histórica Ruta 66, tambien conocida como "The Mother Road", por destacar solo algunas de las razones que la hacen una ciudad especial.

Chicago is a world reference in 20th century architecture, blues, soul, jazz, gospel in terms of music, Irish dancing and the starting point of Route 66, also known as "the Mother Road", just to name a few of the reasons that make this city one of a kind.
